	    SUMMARY OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND INTERESTS

Earth and Space Science applications programming and analysis, graphics 
design and implementation, testing and documentation, ergonomics, 
configuration management, I/O devices, resource acquisition, spacecraft 
operations, and Local Area Networks.  Strong interest in GIS and WWW. 

			SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

* I built an entire faculty recruitment system for a major university 
  in a month in late 2000, and operated it successfully for more than
  3 years.

* 23 years of software support for NASA, NOAA, Intelsat, COMSAT and 
  Bell Atlantic, including mainframe and microcomputer programming 
  using Fortran, 20 varieties of Basic (including VB 4, 6 and 8), 
  PL/1, C, C++, and Access 2-2000, Ramis II, Rbase, Sybase, and DBII 
  Databases. 

* I was commended for developing a high-speed modem network for GE 
  factories throughout North America.  I have also designed and built 
  an Ethernet LAN for SMART, Inc.

* At Bell Atlantic, I produced a secure set of databases for the 
  Problem Management Department, for which I received a commendation 
  from the project manager.

* In early 1996 I organized the Greenbelt Internet Access Cooperative, 
  a value-added reseller of Internet connectivity, which produces a 
  widely-acclaimed series of free monthly classes on using the internet.

* I was given commendations by NASA and other contractors for contributing 
  to an excellent rating for the Dynamic Explorer project, where I was 
  Configuration Manager.  I separated data from 2 satellites in the same 
  database using Ramis II SQL, and saved the entire Atmospheric Explorer 
  data for the NSSDC.

* I earned a Letter of Commendation from Dr. J. T. Comiso for my work on
  the Antarctic Sea Ice Atlas, and develop
