Snow Shoveling

the Muse hit me with a snowball 
while I was shoveling last night's 8" of new snow this morning.


I slice off crusted ice here at the start.
Then I lift the fluffy underburden slow.
With more than half a foot, I have to quarry.
I stop at times, to just enjoy the beauty.

I take it easy, so I'll save my heart.
"Enforce civilization on this barbarian snow!"
The Bush within me wants to make me sorry!
Control myself!  My health is my first duty.


What's an ABCD ABCD rhyme form called?
Would it make sense if I rearranged it AABBCCD?
